MONROE, WA (January 28, 2021) — A new executive order from President Joe Biden calls for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to revise its "Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19," and bolster its enforcement.

In addition to installing high-quality air filters and increasing ventilation in the work environment, OSHA cites physical barriers such as Workspace SHIELD as a vital engineering control for COVID-19.

At the start of the pandemic, many businesses installed plexiglas barriers on their countertops. But a recent study by Princeton University found counter-mounted barriers with an open top allow micro-droplets to waft over them.
